Job summary

One GI is hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant for our Louisville, KY location at 1941 Bishop Lane. The role supports gastroenterologists and allied health staff, takes vital signs, collects specimens, and helps with patient flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant.
• BLS certification required.
• Must be able to travel to satellite locations.

Responsibilities

• Measure vital signs and document in chart.
• Collect specimens for lab analysis as applicable.
• Obtain and record patient health history.
• Assist physician during visits and emergencies.
• Manage prescriptions and referrals as directed.
• Schedule visits, tests, and imaging as needed.
