Job summary

Henry Ford Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for a full-time 40-hour position at our Allen Park location. You will greet patients, obtain histories and vital signs, prepare patients for examinations, and assist providers during procedures.

Under supervision, you will perform administrative tasks to support the clinic team, manage charting in EPIC EMR, and help ensure a smooth patient flow. A 2,000 USD sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong computer skills and keyboarding preferred.
• Ability to perform ambulatory clinical skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• MA certifications preferred (AAMA CMA, AMT RMA, CCMA, NCMA).
• Formal clinical externship (160 hours) completed.
• One year clinical MA experience if externship not completed.
• LPN or EMT with related clinical experience acceptable.
• Military medical experience acceptable.

Responsibilities
