Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for the Primary Care Float Pool in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time role supports physicians with vital signs, patient rooming, documentation, and referrals, while providing flexible placement across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate will have CMA certification, CPR, and 2 years of patient care experience, with preference for physician office work. Mon-Fri schedules with sign-on bonus eligibility.

Baptist Health is looking to add a Certified Medical Assistant to join the Primary Care Float Pool in Jacksonville, Florida.

This is a full-time, Monday-Friday opportunity with varying shift schedules based on the needs of the department.

The ideal candidate will provide clinical support to physicians by obtaining vital signs, rooming and chaperoning patients, maintaining medical records, scheduling tests and follow-up care, and processing prescriptions and referrals. As part of the Baptist Primary Care Float Pool, the role requires flexibility to work across multiple locations and assist with daily patient-care needs.
