Job summary

Saint Francis Health System is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant at the Warren Clinic in Coweta, Oklahoma. This role supports providers during examinations, procedures and treatments, and handles front-line patient care tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of an approved Medical Assistant program; one year of related clinical experience is preferred. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and completion of an approved Medical Assistant program.
• 1 year of related clinical patient care experience within the last 5 years is preferred.
• Effective interpersonal, written and oral communications; strong patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures and treatments per protocols.
• Perform ancillary services such as venipuncture and x-rays as directed.
• Maintain medical records and coordinate care via calls, scheduling and prescription refills.
• Use EMR and other computer systems to document encounters and manage tests and referrals.
