Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) Urgent Care in Panama City Beach has full-time and flex Medical Assistant positions. The role supports direct patient care under nurses and managers, including scheduling patients, patient hygiene/toileting, mobility assistance, charting, and coordination across departments to ensure optimal patient care.

Applicants should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and completion of a Medical Assistant training course; externship or prior related experience

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

TMH Urgent Care in Panama City Beach is looking for FT and Flex Medical Assistants. The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the delegated nursing functions under the direction of the department manager and clinical nurses. This position is responsible for assisting with direct patient care and clerical duties that are an essential function in the coordination of optimal patient care, including, but not limited to scheduling patients, patient hygiene/toileting, mobility assistance, interdepartmental transportation, vital signs, charting, ordering supplies, cleaning and stocking patient areas, chart audits and interaction with all areas of the department .

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

High school diploma (or equivalent) and successful completion of a Medical Assistant training course at a vocational/technical school.
