Job summary

Doctors Urgent Care Group is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our patient-centered team and help physicians and nurses deliver high-quality care with compassion. You will support clinical workflows, handle patient registration, vitals, EKGs, phlebotomy and specimen handling, and in-office testing while maintaining sterile standards and patient comfort in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Qualifications

• Frontline medical assistant capable of patient registration and EMR documentation.
• Ability to verify insurance and collect appropriate patient data.
• Competent in vitals, EKG, venipuncture, injections and specimen handling.
• Experience with in-office testing (flu, strep, pregnancy) is preferred.
• Assists with suturing, maintains sterile technique and clinic hygiene.
• Solid knowledge of clinical procedures and anatomy/physiology.

Job Type: Full-time.
Salary: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour.
