MaxHealth in Holiday, FL is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist to support patient care, prep exam rooms, assist physicians, and handle front desk tasks.

The role offers a competitive wage starting at $20.00 per hour, with benefits including health, 401k, life insurance, long-term disability, paid holidays, and PTO. Normal hours are Monday–Friday; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as an MA with some Front Office experience.
• Must be bilingual English/Spanish.
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Computer literacy (experience using EMR/EHR preferred)

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, triage on arrival, and prepare exam rooms.
• Schedule appointments and procedures; manage documents such as pre-authorizations and medical records.
• Assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments; maintain calming patient presence.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MEDICAL ASSISTANT/FRONT OFFICE REPRESENTATIVE

In this role, you are directly involved in ensuring that we deliver focused and empathetic patient care at all times. As a true people person, you thrive in this environment as you greet patients warmly and triage them upon arrival. You prepare them to see the physician by preparing examination and procedure rooms, obtaining their histories, vital signs, and weight/height measurements. You will also perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and procedures for patients as well as managing the necessary documents such as pre-authorizations, medical records, and test results. While maintaining a calming presence for our patients, you also assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
