Job summary

PeopleOne Health in Wellington, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide administrative and clinical support in a fast-growing outpatient setting. This role helps with patient care, basic procedures, and front/back office coordination to enhance the patient experience.

The candidate will manage patient records, schedule appointments, and ensure accurate documentation while upholding confidentiality and quality service.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program.
• Certification preferred; graduates of a Licensed Practical Nursing program will be considered.
• Current Basic Life Support/AED Certification from an AHA-accredited provider.
• Phlebotomy Certification required for all Medical Assistants performing venipuncture.
• Hold an active credential from NHA CPT, AMT RPT, NCCT NCPT or ASCP PBT.
• New hires must obtain the credential within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clinical support to healthcare providers and assure smooth outpatient operations.
• Assist with patient care, perform basic medical procedures, and manage patient records.
• Coordinate front-office tasks and enhance patient experience.
• Greet patients, schedule appointments, collect data, and ensure proper charting.
