Job summary

Enloe Health in Chico, CA is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to support front-office and back-office tasks under supervision. You will assist clinicians, collect patient data, record histories, and prepare patients for evaluation.

Responsibilities include applying dressings, administering medications, drawing blood, and supporting in-clinic procedures based on the MA scope. The ideal candidate will have CMA or MA program graduation or military medical training with back-office experience, CPR

Qualifications

• Must have CMA or graduate from an accredited MA program.
• Military medical training with back-office experience accepted.
• California certification as CMA is a plus.
• EMT/Nurse Assistant with one year back-office experience acceptable.
• Associate degree in clinical healthcare with experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians and support clinic operations.
• Room patients and collect/record data (medical histories, vitals).
• Prepare patients for evaluation by providers.
• Apply/remove dressings and administer medications as applicable.
• Perform blood draws and support in-clinic procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional communication.
