Job summary

Intermountain Health in Nevada is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide patient care in ambulatory clinics across Henderson, Las Vegas, Mesquite, Pahrump and Boulder City. The role involves supporting multiple specialties, front and back office duties, and a 40-hour week.

• Utah Only: If certified with less than one year of MA experience, caregivers may attend a yearlong MA residency program.

Shift Details:

Full-Time (40 hrs/wk – Monday to Friday, hours depending on clinic needs)

Additional Details:

This position has accountability for providing patient care while supporting multiple specialties in an ambulatory clinic settings. This will involve caring for patients with acute and chronic needs working 8-10 hour shifts through a Monday-Friday 40-hour work week. Must be willing to do both front and back office duties and have reliable transportation.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an outpatient clinic or other healthcare setting.


• Computer literacy in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other relevant software.


• Current national MA certification from one of the following national MA certifications or registrations: Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) of AMT, National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) of the AAMA
