Alabama Women's Wellness Center is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support daily operations in a clinical setting. The role combines patient care, clinical support, documentation, and office organization to assist providers and patients.

Formación

• Approximately two years of experience in the related healthcare field.
• Experience with EMR data collection.
• Basic understanding of biology and human anatomy.
• Understanding of common healthcare procedures and their benefits.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Planning and organizational skills.
• Inventory management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Triage patients based on the reason for their appointment.
• Update patient charts accurately and comprehensively.
• Return nurse calls and assist with patient communication.
• Manage the clinical inbox and route information appropriately.
• Assist providers during medical examinations.
• Prepare, organize, and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments.
• Administer medications under the supervision of a physician.
• Perform specified laboratory orders and related clinical tasks.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
