Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial.
• Experience working in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) is helpful.
• Prior Medical Assisting experience or education is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider(s) in the care of patients.
• Triage patients promptly according to clinic procedures.
• Document vital signs and updates to patients' medical histories.
• Perform lab tests as per clinical guidelines.
• Manage digital patient records and assist with transitions to electronic systems.
• Prepare examination rooms for patient appointments.
• Administer prescribed medications under supervision.
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
• Position patients for x-rays as directed.
• Help manage medical inventory when needed.

Skills
