Freeman Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians in examination and treatment of patients in a fast-paced clinic setting. You will perform patient intake, vitals, and collect health history in the EMR, while maintaining a clean and organized exam room.

The role requires current Medical Assistant certification, a high school diploma, and at least 1 year of clinic experience. You will work Monday through Friday with a focus on delivering quality patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 year clinic experience.

Responsabilités

• Assist provider and/or nursing staff in patient care per established standards.
• Maintain exam rooms with supplies and cleanliness.
• Greet patients and prepare them for examination, recording vitals.
• Assist with follow-up appointments and referrals.
• Use clinic data management system to maintain patient records accurately.
• Screen patients for information to enter in records; ensure chart accuracy.
• Complete paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Communicate pertinent data to health team to ensure continuity of care.
