Job summary

Mass General Brigham Medical Group Northern Massachusetts, Inc. in Beverly, MA is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support our Family Medicine practice. This on-site role is 40 hours weekly with shifts from 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, depending on department needs, and involves clinical and non-clinical duties under physician supervision.

Ideal candidates will have completed a Medical Assistant program or have 1 year of MA experience, plus an MA certification. BLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• 1–2 years of Medical Assistant experience required or in a medical field.
• Epic experience preferred for ambulatory/outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and document patient information.

• Explain treatment procedures, medications, and instructions to patients.
• Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations.

As a Family Medicine office, we provide physical examinations, routine health screenings, and preventative care for all ages, from infants through adults.We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant to support our practice. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, with hours of either 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, based on department needs.Our Medical Assistants play an integral part in the operations of our community-based physician practices. Dedicated to clinical support, the Medical Assistant ensures a smooth patient flow within the practice and assists in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of physician or advanced practitioner.The ideal candidate will have completed a Medical Assistant training program or possess at least one year of professional Medical Assistant experience and hold a national MA certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT).Summary:The role supports healthcare teams by assisting with both clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include taking vital signs, documenting patient information, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow. This role involves direct interaction with patients to ensure their comfort and address concerns, as well as collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff to facilitate efficient care.Does this position require Patient Care?
