University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) for Family Medicine. The role involves supporting physicians in diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, gynecological care, and urgent care.

You will promote healthy lifestyles, provide patient education, and perform procedures such as vital signs, EKGs, and medication administration. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program required.
• LPN licensure required.
• Completion of UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program or Employee Partner Medical Assistant Program or acceptance into UWH MA Apprenticeship Program - Accelerated required.
• CCMA certification (as a UWH employee) required or.
• One year of CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

Work Schedule

Full-time, 100% FTE, day shift. Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm, no weekends required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program Required or
• Licensure as an LPN or
• Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program or an Employee Partner Medical Assistant Program or
• Attainment of the CCMA certification as a UWH employee or
• Acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program - Accelerated or
• One year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA or CCMA Certification

Work Experience

• 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Certified as MA, CMA, RMA, or CCMA within 1 Year Required or
• Licensure as an LPN Upon Hire Required
• If applying in lieu of Medical Assistant education or LPN licensure, must have current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification Upon Hire Required
• CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required
