Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center in Everett, WA seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support our Endocrinology team. You will provide full clinical care, including vital signs, injections, and medication administration, while coordinating patient care within established guidelines.

The ideal candidate has hands-on MA training, a MA apprenticeship or military medical training, and Washington MA certification, plus BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on medical assistant training.
  • Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
  • Completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
  • Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
  • Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 6 months healthcare and 6 months medical assistant experience

Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialized, high-quality patient care within endocrinology.
  • Support clinicians with clinical tasks and patient coordination.
  • Build long-term patient relationships and uphold policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications
  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants or,
  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program or,
  • Coursework/Training: Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces or,
  • Coursework/Training: Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
  • Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 6 months Healthcare experience.
  • 6 months Medical Assistant experience.
