Formación

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or MA certification is commonly required.
• EMR/documentation proficiency and patient care experience are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitates efficient patient flow by preparing patients for visits and assisting providers.
• Ensures accurate and timely EMR documentation (Care Connect).
• Performs administrative duties to keep patient information current and up to date.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment, equipment, and work area.
• Communicates with patients in a respectful and caring manner and supports care coordination.
• Collects and monitors patient data and reports needs as directed.
• Supports quality, safety, and efficiency initiatives and participates in process improvement.

Conocimientos

BLS - Basic Life Support
