Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant Program from an accredited institution is required or certified upon hire.
• Competencies: Working knowledge of English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for evaluation.
• Measure and record vital signs; draw blood and collect lab samples.
• Schedule appointments and manage data entry in EMR.
• Transcribe visit notes and assist physicians during examinations.
• Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
