Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history
• Assist the physician during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are available
• Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
• Maintain patient records while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times
• Schedule patient appointments and manage office communications effectively
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and appropriate skincare practices
• Ensure the examination rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred
• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role within a clinical environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and practices relevant to dermatology
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, especially in fast‑paced conditions
• Basic proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and standard office software

Compensation Range: $22.00 - 27.00 per hour. Final offer will be based on a combination of skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
