Intermountain Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our ambulatory clinic team at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. The MA will assist with vitals, ECGs, intake, and eventual physician scribing, under clinician direction, in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• This position requires either completion of a Medical Assistant program OR at least one year of MA work experience OR a current active RN/LPN license in Utah.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers, prior to start date.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under clinician direction, gathering information relevant to the visit.
• Communicate clearly with patients via phone and in person.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely patient care.
