Job summary

East Liverpool City Hospital is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to assist physicians with patient care and perform essential clerical tasks. The role includes appointment scheduling, chart management, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.

You will provide information to patients to help them fully utilize clinic services, while upholding a positive image of the organization. Prior health care experience and BLS certification are preferred for this temporary position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required for new hires.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate required upon hire and maintain.
• Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.
• Work experience in health care preferred.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for new hires effective April 2014.

2. Medical Assistant Certification perferred.

3. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current

4. Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.

5. Work experience in health care preferred.
