Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Sewickley, PA clinic. The role includes rooming patients, taking vital signs, reviewing medications, and collecting specimens, with basic lab tests and injections performed as directed by the provider.

Administrative duties involve ordering supplies, maintaining medical records, handling referrals and authorizations, and scheduling appointments. A $1,000 hiring bonus is offered for full-time hires.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent is required.
• Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA CMA, AMT RMA, NHA CCMA, NCCT NCMA, or NAHP NRCMA) required.
• CPR Certification required.
• Computer experience required.
• Successful completion of required clearances within 90 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients and takes vital signs.
• Reviews patient medication list and medical/social history.
• Collects specimens and performs basic lab tests.
• Administers injections and medications as directed by provider.
• Administrative duties include ordering supplies, maintaining medical records, obtaining referrals/authorizations and scheduling appointments.
