Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from a Medical Assistant diploma or associate degree program.
• One year of Hematology/Oncology inpatient or outpatient experience preferred.
• Active CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks of direct and indirect care in ambulatory settings under physician supervision.
• Participates as a member of the health care team and follows patient care plans and policies.
• Carries out activities within legal scope for unlicensed health care personnel.
