Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• 0–1 year of experience in a medical practice or externship completed preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with non-invasive medical procedures; takes vital signs and assists with exams.
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms before patient visits and procedures.
• Performs patient intake duties, including reporting test results and phone triage.
• Maintains daily logs and documentation.
• Supports administrative duties: pre-registering patients, scheduling, referrals, and insurance verification.
• Keeps organized workload and provides courteous, efficient service.
• Monitors supplies and equipment inventory.
• Educates patients on medications, diets, and health topics.
