Saint Luke's Health System in the Kansas City area offers a 10-week paid Medical Assistant Cohort Program designed to teach medical terminology, anatomy, pharmacology, and patient care. Upon completion, participants transition into a full-time Medical Assistant role with Saint Luke's Physician Group at their home clinic.

The program features classroom instruction, hands-on clinical training, and a Success Coach, with attendance Monday through Friday during the cohort and various shift times once

Competenze

Job Description

Saint Luke's is offering a 10-week paid Medical Assistant Cohort Program designed to provide the education, hands‑on training, and support needed to become a successful Medical Assistant.

Featured Full-Time Opportunity. Upon successful completion of the cohort, participants will transition into a full-time Medical Assistant position with Convenient Care South. This opportunity allows you to apply the skills learned during the program while becoming an integral part of a primary care team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Please note that Convenient Care provides extended access to patients and requires schedule flexibility. Clinic hours include early morning, evening, weekend, and holiday coverage. Team members are scheduled based on clinic needs and should expect to work a variety of shifts within the operating hours of the clinic.

Program Structure

Attendance Requirement

This is an intensive full‑time training program. Attendance is mandatory Monday through Friday throughout the entire 10-week cohort. Participants must successfully complete all classroom, clinical, and clinic‑based training requirements.

Your Career After the Cohort

Upon successful completion of the program, participants will transition directly into a full‑time Medical Assistant position within Saint Luke's Physician Group at their assigned home clinic.
