Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System is seeking a full-time float Medical Assistant to support providers and nursing teams across community care clinics in Missouri. The role involves pre-visit planning, rooming patients, taking vitals, and using the EMR system to document care.

You will perform injections, vaccine coordination, phlebotomy, and assist with procedures as needed, with front office duties as assigned. Schedules are set a month in advance, and eligible for float pay differential.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year applicable experience.
• Excellent customer service and professional demeanor.
• Ability to float across clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pre-visit planning.
• Room patients and obtain vitals.
• Utilize EMR system to document care.
• Scan and download documents.
• Administer injections and coordinate vaccines.
• Telephone screenings per protocols.
• Phlebotomy.
• Assist with procedures as needed.
• Cover front office duties as required.
• Float to all community care clinics as assigned.
• Schedules created at least 1 month in advance.

May be responsible for covering front office job duties as needed.

This is a full time float position and candidate will be required to float to all community care clinics as assigned.

Schedules are created at least 1 month in advance.

Position is eligible for float pay differential.
