Job summary

Saint Luke's Health System offers a 10-week paid Medical Assistant Cohort Program designed to provide education, hands-on training, and support to become a successful Medical Assistant. The program includes classroom instruction, clinical training, and a pathway to a full-time Medical Assistant position within the Saint Luke's Physician Group.

Participants will gain Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology, Pharmacology, Medication Administration, and BLS certification, with a focus on patient

Qualifications

• Medical terminology and foundational anatomy knowledge required.
• Familiarity with body systems and pharmacology concepts beneficial.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred prior to/within program.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 10-week paid cohort with classroom and hands-on training.
• Transition into a full-time Medical Assistant role in the Float Pool upon program completion.
• Work within a primary care team to deliver patient-centered care.
• Attend all sessions Monday through Friday for the duration of the program.
