Marshall Medical Centers, affiliated with the Huntsville Hospital Health System, seeks a Medical Assistant to support both clinical care and front-office operations at its Guntersville, Alabama location.

The role includes nursing duties under physician direction, vital signs, specimen collection, injections, charting, and communicating with patients. Office reception tasks such as scheduling and billing support are also part of the position.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent - required.
• Certified Medical Assistant Diploma from an accredited institution - preferred.
• Prior experience in another physician office practice - preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care to patients under the direction of a physician, including vital signs, specimen collection and injections; document charts and relay clinical information.
• Take on front office duties when needed: answer phones, schedule appointments, assemble charts, collect co-pays and balances, and enter patient demographics.
• Maintain clinical logs per MMC guidelines and assist other staff as needed.
