Providence Medical Group (PMG) in Alaska is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA-C) to support administrative and clinical tasks, such as scheduling appointments, updating patient information in EPIC, and taking patients’ vital signs at visits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program or apprenticeship, or military medical training.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 6 months healthcare experience and 6 months Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and update patient information in EPIC.
• Take patients' vital signs during appointments.
• Assist with administrative and clinical tasks to support the care team.
