Job summary

Orthopedic Associates offers a Medical Assistant-Clinical (full-time) position at our Vandalia office. You will provide direct patient care, assist physicians, and help maintain efficient clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by removing dressings/splints, casts, braces, staples/sutures, scribing HPI, verification of medical history, etc.
• Support physicians and care teams to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Sterilization of patient rooms and supplies.
• Communicate clearly to patients and families to reassure and inform.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide patient care by removing dressings/splints, casts, braces, staples/sutures, scribing HPI, verification of medical history, etc.
• Support physicians and care teams to provide efficient, high-quality care
• Sterilization of patient rooms and supplies
• Serve as a trusted resource to patients, providing reassurance and clear communication
• Occasional travel to other OA offices to provide support
