Job summary

OrthoAlaska LLC seeks a Medical Assistant for the Primary Care Associates team in Anchorage. You will support providers, room patients, take vitals, and document PHI within the care-team model.

Hours vary with clinic times (7:30 am–5:00 pm, M-F; rotating shifts). A non-certified wage is $20.00–$30.50/hr, certified $21.00–$31.50/hr (DOE) plus a $500 signing bonus after 90 days of full-time employment; comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred CMA certification or LPN with two years clinical experience.
• Experience in clinical setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care within the care-team model.
• Room patients, take vitals and document PHI.
• Assist in administrative areas including appointment scheduling and scanning.
• Maintain appointment flow and organization.
• Answer patient calls and follow up with patients.
• Prepare for next day clinic.
