Job summary

Shannon Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to deliver patient care under the direction of the clinic provider.

You will collaborate with the clinic patient care manager and other staff to support nursing-related and medical office tasks in a busy clinic setting. This full-time role requires a High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification (to be obtained within 90 days).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• One or more years of experience as a Medical Assistant (preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Responsible for the delivery of patient care as directed by the clinic provider. The medical assistant works closely with the clinic patient care manager, other professional staff, clerical staff, ancillary department members, visitors and families.

Responsible for basic nursing-related and medical office tasks on average difficulty.
