Job summary

Midwest Express Clinic in Chicago's Lakefront area is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care and clinic operations. You will welcome patients, take vitals, document in the EMR, and assist providers during visits.

The role also covers registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and payments, in a fast-paced outpatient setting. The position is full-time with hourly pay of $20–$22 and a comprehensive benefits package, including health/dental/vision plans and 401(k) with employer

The Role

What You’ll Own

Patient Care & Service

• Welcome patients warmly and create a great first impression
• Room patients, obtain vitals and medical history, document accurately within the EMR, and support providers during visits
• Perform blooddraws, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection as permitted

Clinic Operations

• Register patients, support insurance verification, answer phones, schedule visits, and collect payments
• Keep documentationaccurateand organized within the EMR

Team Standards

• Show up on time and ready to contribute
• Support teammates during busy shifts
• Help keep the clinic clean, smooth, and efficient

Compensation

The expectedhourlyrange for this position is$20-22 depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
