The Medical Assistant – Certified provides clinical, clerical, and administrative tasks in an OMP outpatient clinic. Under the supervision and direction of a provider (physician or advanced practice clinician) or Medical Office Nurse Coordinator, the certified Medical Assistant performs duties that are consistent with his/her Medical Assistant education, training, experience and certification.

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• WA Department of Health-accredited Medical Assistant program completion is required.
• Current WA DOH Medical Assistant certification (approved/interim/pending) acceptable.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.
