Freeman Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and nursing staff in outpatient clinics. You will perform patient intake, collect vital signs, document medical histories in the EMR, and maintain clean, well-organized exam rooms.
Ideal candidates have a current Medical Assistant certification/registration or a diploma-equivalency, plus at least 1 year of clinic experience. Full-time role with comprehensive benefits is available.

Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday through Friday. No weekends/no holidays.
Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. Conducts intake on patients , vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and completes patient health history in the electronic medical record. Displays good decision making skills and has knowledge of anatomy and proficient in medical terminology. Must be able to multi task. May be required to draw and collect blood samples for patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis, might be exposed to bodily fluids during patient care. Must be friendly, professional and able to keep a fast pace during clinic hours.
