DM Clinical Research Group in Seattle, WA seeks a Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C) to join as an Unblinded Clinical Research Coordinator.

You will dispense Investigational Products (IP), measure vital signs, collect blood and urine samples, administer injections, and run routine tests such as EKGs while ensuring IP accountability and regulatory documentation. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in clinical research, CRIO experience, and bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or 2 years of formal coursework.
  • 2+ years of Clinical Research experience, in-clinic.
  • 1+ year as Clinical Research Coordinator, Blinded or Unblinded.
  • 1+ year using CRIO system.
  • LPN or MA-C credential preferred.
  • DMCR required training including GCP, OSHA and IATA.

Responsibilities

  • Compound and dispense IP as per Sponsor protocol.
  • Measure vital signs and document medical histories.
  • Collect blood, urine and specimens for testing.
  • Administer injections or vaccines and monitor adverse reactions.
  • Provide consultative support on drug preparation and dosing.
  • Run routine tests like EKGs and maintain IP records.
  • Ensure site regulatory documents and certifications are up to date.
  • Maintain IP accountability: receipt, dispensing, return or destruction.
  • Coordinate with PI, sponsor and study team to meet protocol requirements.

Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 Salary/year

DM Clinical Research is looking to hire aMedical Assistant - Certified (MA-C)to join our team and work as a Unblinded Clinical Research Coordinatorto join our team. This individual will be responsible for dispensing Investigational Products (IP) as part of clinical research trials.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Compound and dispense prescribed IP as needed by Sponsor approved protocol
  • Measure vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight) and document medical histories.
  • Collect blood (phlebotomy), urine, and other specimens for testing.
  • Administer injections or vaccines, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Provide consultative support regarding the preparation and dosing of drugs
  • Run routine tests like EKGs (electrocardiograms).
  • Supervise and maintain records of all medications
  • Perform regular audits on the clinical data to assess percent completeness and accuracy
  • Ensure external sites’ regulatory documents and required site certifications are up to date
  • Maintain documentation of IP accountability: receipt, dispensing, return to sponsor/destruction
  • Ensure receipt and proper storage of IP and bioretention samples, including temperature reporting
  • Interact with Principal Investigator, sponsor, study manager and other study coordinators to ensure all aspects of protocols and study requirements are understood.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Education
  • Associates Degree required or 2 years of formal educational coursework
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • Secondary or Foreign Medical Graduate, preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of Clinical Research experience, inclusive of in-clinic experience, required
  • 1+ year of Clinical Research Coordinator experience, Blinded or Unblinded, required
  • 1+ year utilizing CRIO, preferred
Credentials
  • LPN (Licensed Professional Nurse) or MA - C (Medical Assistant- Certified), preferred
  • Medical Assistant - Phlebotomist, preferred
  • Completion of DMCR-required training, including GCP, OSHA and IATA
Knowledge and Skills
  • Computer proficiency, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google Suite products.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
