Job summary

Revere Health in Provo, Utah is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant/Certified Nurse Assistant to join our patient care team. You will provide consistent, friendly care, prepare patients for examinations, and support scheduling and documentation under a physician's supervision.

Ideal candidates have MA certification or CNA experience, CPR within 4 months of hire, and 2–3 years of relevant experience. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, with strong teamwork and communication essential to success.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with certification.
• Or experienced Certified Nurse Assistant with clinical skills equivalent to those described.
• Experience preferred: 2-3 years.
• Current CPR certification or obtain within 4 months of hire.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus.

Essential Job Functions:

• Clinical Skills: - accurate vital signs (Blood pressure, Radial pulse, Temperature, Height, Weight) - Infection Control: PPE, Handwashing, Sharps containers, Biohazard disposal. - Equipment Use and Maintenance (Ophthalmoscope/Otoscope, O2 saturation monitor, Thermometer). - Electronic medical record access patient's chart, physician schedule, tasking Rx refills/authorizations, lab results, record vital signs, medications, imaging results. Phlebotomy as needed.

Qualifications:

• Ability to bend, reach, lift, pull, push, and/or carry up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally is required.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time is required.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus.

Hours:

Full-time 36-40 hours per week. Our clinic hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. MAs will come in an hour at 0700 am to get ready for the day, Monday through Friday.Our staff work the four-day work schedule that their assigned provider works.

Additional Notes:

This job location is in our Provo office. On occasion staff are asked to work at one of our satellite office locations, currently American Fork and Lehi, in order to provide needed coverage.
