Job summary

Tidelands Health in Murrells Inlet, SC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our health system team. The role supports exam preparation, vitals, and direct patient care within a clinic setting.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of related customer facing experience Required.
• Healthcare experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accompany patients to exam rooms and prepare for exams.
• Perform and document vital signs.
• Assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications with physician's authorization.
• Perform EKGs.
• Use CPR skills when required.
• Draw blood.
• Provide patient education on office policies, medications, home treatments and diet.
• Stock exam rooms and clean rooms and instruments.
• Dispose of biohazard waste per OSHA standards.
