Concord Hospital Health System is seeking a capable Medical Assistant/Nursing Assistant to support the medical team. Under the supervision of a provider, this role assists in patient examinations and performs immunizations, treatments and routine procedures.

The position requires graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or Licensed Nursing Assistant program, or military medical training, and CPR/BLS certification. The role is 40 hours per week with 4 ten-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent.
• Licensed Nursing Assistant program completion or military medical training accepted.
• CPR/BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross).

Responsabilités

• Assist in examinations and treatment of patients under provider supervision.

• Provide clerical and general office support as needed.

Summary

Reporting to the Practice Manager or Clinical Leader/Manager, and under the direction and supervision of

Reporting to the Practice Manager or Clinical Leader/Manager, and under the direction and supervision of the medical provider, assists in the examination and treatment of patients and has advanced skills in immunization administration, treatments and procedures. In addition, may be involved in other areas of medical office support including clerical, environmental and organizational.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program; or
• Successful completion of a Licensed Nursing Assistant program; or
• Military medical training.

Certification, Registration & Licensure

• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification or Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers

Experience

• With completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, no experience is required.
• Licensed Nursing Assistant must have a minimum of one year healthcare experience.
• Trained Military Medic must have the equivalent of one year related experience.

Hours

This is a 40 hour per week position which means 4, 10 hour shifts per week.
