Community Health Systems in Milton, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care under supervision. You will assist with procedures, manage exam rooms, handle patient intake, and help maintain clinic operations while delivering excellent service to patients and staff.

The role requires completion of a Medical Assistant program (preferred) with 0-1 years of experience or externship, and basic computer/EMR proficiency. A friendly, team-focused environment awaits you.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant program from an accredited school preferred.
• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or externship completed required.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures and patient care techniques.
• Basic proficiency in computer applications and EMR systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with non-invasive medical procedures, such as taking vital signs and preparing patients for exams.
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms before patient visits and procedures.
• Performs patient intake duties, including reporting test results and coordinating triage.
• Reviews and maintains daily logs and documentation.
• Supports administrative duties, including pre-registering patients and scheduling.
• Maintains organized workload and delivers courteous service to patients and staff.
• Monitors supplies and equipment to ensure inventory and functionality.
• Educates patients on medications and health topics.
