Job summary

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, ME is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time ambulatory care role. Work schedule is 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a posted salary range of $20.47 to $30.90 per hour.

The position supports clinical and administrative duties, including assisting providers, rooming patients, and obtaining ECGs, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and completion of a medical assistant program or current student nearing completion
• Certification/registration: CCMA, CMA, NCMA, RMA must be maintained
• Five years' experience as Medical Assistant with one of the certifications/registrations
• Maine LPN licensure or eligibility needed

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with procedures
• Conduct follow up with patients on lab/test results
• Room patients and obtain ECGs
• Preload and confirm office appointments
