Job summary

Henry Community Health in New Castle, Indiana, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical and clerical tasks in a busy office. This role includes performing office procedures such as billing and correspondence, taking vital signs and ECGs, and assisting the health team with various clinical tasks.

The ideal candidate has completed a Medical Assistant training program or certification, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant training program or MA certification.
• One year related experience preferred.
• CPR certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform office procedures including billing, bookkeeping and typing/correspondence.
• Take vital signs, ECG and perform other clinical assistance tasks.
• Interact with patients and families professionally.
• Maintain professionalism while interacting with payors, vendors, insurers, etc.
