Job summary

Baptist Health – Baymeadows Primary Care in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant for a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM. The ideal candidate will perform back-office duties, including rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and supporting the provider during visits.

Responsibilities include providing medical assistance to physicians, obtaining vital signs, greeting and chaperoning patients, maintaining medical documentation, and processing prescription requests and

Qualifications

• 2+ years patient care experience.
• BLS required.
• High School Diploma or GED required; AA/AS preferred; CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical assistance to physicians.
• Obtains vital signs.
• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visits.
• Maintains medical documentation.
• Processes prescription requests and referrals.
• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician.
• Delivers excellent customer service.
