Participants commit to a 3-year period after completing schooling and certification, starting at $18.00/hr and reaching $20.00/hr upon MA program completion and certification.

Qualifications

• High School or GED Equivalent.
• CCMA (NHA) within 2 years.
• CMA (AMCA) within 2 years.
• CMA (AMCA) within 2 years (duplicate requirement).
• RMA (AMT) within 2 years.
• NCMA (NCCT) within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Assists in patient care as directed by provider based on competency.
• Documents all patient procedures accurately in the medical record.
• Maintains timely flow of patients.
• Instructs patients on sample collection and tests.
• Educates patients and families on procedures, medications, nutrition, disease processes, and wellness.
• Greets patients and collects history and vital signs.
