Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide patient care in ambulatory clinics across Nevada. The role involves assisting clinicians, gathering visit information, and communicating with patients via phone and in person.

This full-time position covers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts 8–10 hours long depending on clinic needs. The ideal candidate has completed a Medical Assistant program with certification, at least one year of MA experience or an active RN/LPN

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program with certification.
• At least one year MA experience or RN/LPN license.
• Current BLS for healthcare providers.
• Basic computer skills and data entry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect PHI and patient privacy.
• Utah MA residency program if certified with less than 1 year MA experience.
