Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our ambulatory clinic team in Layton, Utah. You will assist clinicians, gather relevant patient information, and ensure high-quality care across acute and chronic needs.

You will communicate with patients via phone and in person, work with cross-functional teams, and uphold privacy and PHI protections in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• This position requires completion of a Medical Assistant program, at least one year MA experience, or active RN/LPN license in Utah.
• Current BLS certification is required before start date.
• Basic computer and data entry skills are expected.
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to protect privacy and PHI of patients and caregivers.
