As a Medical Assistant/Allergy Tech working in an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) clinic, your responsibilities involve a combination of administrative and clinical tasks. Here's a detailed overview:

Administrative Duties

• Patient Scheduling: Schedule patient appointments, surgeries, and follow-up visits, ensuring efficient use of time slots and coordination with staff.
• Patient Registration: Greet patients, collect demographic and insurance information, and update EMRs accurately.
• Insurance Verification: Verify coverage, obtain authorizations, and assist with insurance inquiries.
• Medical Records Management: Maintain organized, up-to-date medical records, including filing and scanning.
• Billing and Coding: Assist with billing, including accurate coding for procedures and services.
• Supply Management: Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and coordinate orders.
