Job summary

Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) seeks to develop an applicant pool of adjunct instructors to teach Medical Assistant courses for the 2026-2027 academic year across Walla Walla, Clarkston, penitentiaries, and online formats. Positions are part-time/temporary with flexible hours and a mix of online and in-person instruction.

Applicants should meet MA credentials and experience requirements; remote eligibility is noted, and applications are reviewed in advance of each quarter.

Qualifications

• Certified medical assistant credential in good standing (AAMA/NHA/NCCT/AMCA).
• Minimum of three (3) years of healthcare facility employment with ambulatory exposure (160 hours).
• Remote work eligibility with residency in WA/OR/ID/CA/IL/NE/NV/PA/TX as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality instruction aligned with MAERB Core Curriculum and college standards.
• Foster an equitable learning environment for diverse students.
• Assess student mastery of course and learning outcomes.
• Teach in multiple formats (face-to-face, hybrid, online) as appropriate.
• Supervise clinical experiences for students.
• Maintain student records and evaluate performance.
