Job summary

Sentara Medical Group in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. The role includes providing patient care and performing administrative/clerical tasks under the supervision of clinicians.

The position is full-time, days, with standard hours 8:00am–5:00pm EST, and offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus along with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. CMA/CCMA/RMA/NREMT-Basic certification and active licensure are required or preferred as stated.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Preferred).
• Active CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic (Required).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of clinical or administrative experience.
• Phlebotomy experience (Preferred).
