Job summary

EPIC Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for an on-site role in Hamtramck, Michigan. This full-time position operates on a 4 days/week schedule from 7:45am to 6:15pm to support hands-on patient care within a collaborative team.

You will welcome patients, record vital signs in the EHR, assist with injections and vaccinations, collect samples, educate patients, and coordinate follow-up care while contributing to process improvements and patient education.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Medical Assistant or coursework in the field.
• Phlebotomy experience is a plus.
• Care about improving community health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and create a welcoming environment.
• Accurately measure and record vital signs in the EHR.
• Document patient history and symptoms.

• Coordinate follow-up care and scheduling.
• Support team initiatives to improve processes.
